Contrary to the existing position that the list of invitees for the inauguration ceremony of President Yoon Seok-yeol was destroyed, it was confirmed that the government is keeping the list of invitees and is in the process of transferring it to the National Archives.

According to the office of Democratic Party lawmaker Oh Young-hwan, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security responded to a question about whether to keep the original list of invitees for the inauguration ceremony of President Yoon, saying, "According to the current law, personal information was destroyed after the type of inauguration ceremony, but the The list of invited recipients is in the process of being transferred to the National Archives in accordance with the Public Records Management Act.”

This is expected to be controversial as it contradicts the statement that President Kim Dae-gi, chief of staff, who attended the National Assembly Steering Committee on the 23rd, said, "All personal information has been destroyed."

According to Assemblyman Oh's office, the total number of invitations issued to President Yoon's inauguration was about 45,000.

He continued, "The Ministry of Public Administration and Security said to some lawmakers that it 'remains as a public record' is a list that must attend inauguration ceremonies, such as the 5th department or the heads of major institutions. It may remain as a record,” he explained.

However, he said, "Since the entire list has not been destroyed, it is impossible to know whether or not to attend, except for those who must attend."
